What is Bleed?

Bleed means print to the edge of the paper.

Because print machines cannot print to the edge of the paper, we have to print past the finished size of the image so that when it is cut, colour goes to the cut edge.

Not Sure We Can Print From Your File?

If you are not sure that your file will work for commercial printing, you can send it to us and we will examine it to see if there are any major flaws that would prevent us from printing your job.

Things to check for:

  • Resolution of images

  • Colour Mode converstion

  • Format and set-up, (see templates available)

  • Bleed
  • (what is bleed? Bleed means print to the edge of the paper.)
    (Note: we do not check your files for typos, wrong phone numbers etc)
